GDC Last Mile Distribution Forum – Kigali
Following the success of our April Last Mile Distribution (LMD) Forum in Nairobi, we are excited to share we are heading to Kigali, Rwanda for another exclusive in-person event¹ for GDC members to connect with peers, share expertise, address common challenges, and learn and interact with other key sector players.

Why you should attend?
Last mile distributors (LMDs) are essential to ensuring that no one is left behind. Yet, they often operate in isolation, and face similar challenges in accessing finance, scaling sustainably, and building catalytic partnerships. GDC Member Learning and Collaboration Events offer the space to change that, bringing together GDC members, investors, funders, and sector experts under one roof, to share insights, explore new opportunities, network, learn from one another, and tackle common challenges head-on!
What to expect
On the fringes of the Global Off-Grid Solar Forum & Expo (GOGSFE) scheduled from 27th to 29th October 2026, the GDC will be hosting a side event – the LMD forum – for our members and key sector players on 26th October. This full-day event will include topical and interactive workshops, discussion panels and networking opportunities. Please note, a detailed agenda will be shared soon.
Who can attend
This is an invite-only event designed specifically for GDC members and select key stakeholders interested in last mile distribution. All GDC members are welcome to register. If you are a last mile distributor but are not yet a GDC member and want to attend, please self-evaluate against our membership criteria and apply for membership here. If you meet our membership criteria, we will be happy to welcome you to our community and the LMD Forum event in Kigali.
