Our 2026 GDC Member Learning and Collaboration Event will take place in Nairobi, Kenya 20th to 22nd April.
This in-person event is designed exclusively for GDC members to help them connect, learn, network, and professionalise their companies.

Why you should attend?
Last mile distributors (LMDs) are essential to ensuring that no one is left behind. Yet, they often operate in isolation, and face similar challenges in accessing finance, scaling sustainably, and building catalytic partnerships. GDC Member Learning and Collaboration Events offer the space to change that, bringing together GDC members, investors, funders, and sector experts under one roof, to share insights, explore new opportunities, network, learn from one another, and tackle common challenges head-on!
What to expect
Across the 20th to 22nd April 2026, participants will take part in interactive workshops, expert panels, and hands-on learning sessions, all tailored to the real-world needs and experiences of last mile distributors.
Over the three days, we’ll dive into key topics including investment readiness and engaging effectively with donors; key factors for LMDs to consider in order to reach profitability; how to leverage artificial intelligence to strengthen business and strategic performance; and more! There will also be ample time for networking and the opportunity to visit a local GDC member nearby, to see them in action. Please note, a detailed agenda will be shared soon.
Who can attend
This is an invite-only event designed specifically for GDC members and select key stakeholders interested in last mile distribution. All GDC members are welcome to register. If you are a last mile distributor but are not yet a GDC member and want to attend, please self-evaluate against our membership criteria and apply for membership here. If you meet our membership criteria, we will be happy to welcome you to our community and Nairobi event.
