GDC Member Learning and Collaboration Event

We are thrilled to bring GDC members together in Lusaka, Zambia at the GDC member learning and collaboration event this 8-9 April! This exclusive in-person event organised by the GDC is designed for GDC members, helping them connect, build and hone their expertise, and address common challenges.

What?

The GDC member learning and collaboration event includes two days of workshops on topics such as innovation, digitalisation, business performance, and access to finance; interactive panels; networking opportunities; and site visits to see GDC members in action.

Please note, the event will be held entirely in English.

This is the first of four regional GDC member learning and collaboration events planned for the next two years. We will also hold a similar event in West Africa, East Africa and South Asia, and we hope GDC members will be able to join at least one event. More details on future events, including dates and registration details, will be available in due course.

 

Cost

The event is free for GDC members to attend, but participants are required to cover their travel costs to and from Lusaka. We do have a small grant pot available to assist GDC members with travel costs.

Additional forum: GOGLA Decentralised Renewable Energy (DRE) Day

Taking place 11-12 April, this is a multistakeholder event of 100+ participants interested in ramping up energy access in Zambia and sub-Saharan Africa more broadly, bringing together investors, manufacturers, service providers, programme designers, and many more!
